Which beds suit a gift format
Small mats, pillow beds, and fold-flat blankets fit into a box and ship at low cost. Larger beds can be vacuum packed for a mailer. Heated beds and frame products are rarely used for gifting because of the document and size requirements.
Branding options
- Woven or printed labels sewn into a seam.
- Printed hang tags and a branded insert card.
- Printed cartons or sleeves.
- A custom color selected from the supplier's stocked fabrics.
Each option has its own MOQ and lead time. Branded cartons, in particular, usually require a larger run than the bed itself.
Timing and consistency
A promotion has a fixed date. Work backward from the date, and add time for sample approval, production, transit, and receiving. Build in a buffer for customs and for rework if a sample does not match.
Color consistency matters more in a set than in a catalog. Ask the supplier to produce all the units from one dye lot and to confirm that in writing.
Quantities
Order the quantity you need plus a defined spare percentage for damaged units. Do not rely on a verbal arrangement for the spare quantity; put it into the order.
