Quality control
Inspection stages, the tests behind our claims, and how batch problems are recorded and fixed.
Inspection stages
| Stage | Check | Record |
|---|---|---|
| Incoming materials | Fabric weight and color against the lot sample | Lot number and check result |
| In-process | Seams, bolster fill, zipper function | Stage checklist |
| Final inspection | Sampling plan agreed in the order: dimensions, workmanship, labels | Inspection report |
| Packing | Carton marking and packed weight | Packing record |
Tests and documents
Each test we list is tied to a document. Where the document is pending, the test is marked pending on the testing and compliance page.
- Fabric colorfastness after washing, with the method named.
- Pilling or abrasion results, where the supplier has them.
- Water resistance for outdoor products, with the report number.
- Electrical safety for heated products, for the target market only.
Complaints and returns
When a batch fails, we record the defect, the quantity, and the root cause the partner gives us. We agree the fix in writing before the next batch. Returns and warranty terms are stated in the quote and the order confirmation.
