Factory network and capability

How we check partner factories, what we record about their capacity, and what you can ask for before you order.

How we describe capacity

Cradlehound is a sourcing desk. We do not describe ourselves as a single factory. We coordinate partner factories that we have checked against the requirements of your product line.

For every partner, we record the fields below. A field stays pending until the supplier provides a document or we verify it on a site visit or a sample run.

Partner verification

  1. Review the company documents and business registration.
  2. Check the production capability fields against a written questionnaire.
  3. Run a paid sample against your specification and measure it.
  4. Record the results, the open points, and the date in the partner file.

We will only list a partner whose documents and sample results match the claims we make to you.

What you can ask for

  • The partner's business documents and the production capability questionnaire.
  • Photos of the actual line you will use, taken within the last 90 days, with the date shown.
  • The inspection record for your last comparable order.
  • A site visit, by you or a third party, before a large first order.
