Dog beds for pet-friendly hospitality

Hospitality buyers need beds that look tidy, clean quickly between guests, and can be replaced without a long search.

Different priorities from retail

A hotel or rental buys a bed as part of the room, not as a product for sale. The bed should look neat in photos, be cleaned between stays, and be easy to store. It has to suit dogs of many sizes, and it should not leave staff handling large, awkward items.

Appearance matters more than in a kennel, but cleanability matters as much. A bed that looks good and cannot be cleaned quickly will not stay in service.

What to look for

  • Covers that wipe clean or wash at a high temperature, confirmed by the supplier in writing.
  • Neutral colors and simple designs that fit many room styles and hide light wear.
  • A size range that suits small to large dogs, with two or three sizes to stock.
  • A removable cover with a robust zipper, and spare covers for rotation.
  • Foam or fill that does not hold odors, and a liner that protects the fill.
  • A non-slip base for polished floors.

Cleaning routines and fabrics

Staff turnover and tight schedules call for a short, clear cleaning routine, ideally printed on a card kept with the bed. Check which cleaners the fabric tolerates, and test the routine on a sample. A fabric that fades or stiffens under the cleaning you plan to use will not last.

Replacement and branding

Hospitality buyers often want a bed with a small logo or a color that matches the property. Ask what branding options the supplier offers and at what quantity, and see the customization page. Plan for a yearly replacement of covers and a longer cycle for the beds, and ask the supplier to hold the pattern so that replacements match.
